Documenting the echos of Chernobyl Tragedy,Abandoned orphans at Orphanage of Shurawitsche in Rogatschew, a small village in Belarus on the Ukraine border near Chernobyl. Twentyfive years after the Chernobyl explosion, the world's worst nuclear tragedy, children in the independent republic of Belarus continue to be born with deformities, brain damage and genetic mutations. Abandoned by their parents, these children are placed in foster homes scattered around the country, which suffered 70% of the radioactive fallout.
